Hi, my name is Earl and I own the cottage. It has been completely rebuilt* for 2018 and it’s now brand new and better than ever. I have been going to the cottage my whole life. It is my favourite place. I love sitting on the dock and watching the sunset over the water. It is gorgeous.
And, I'm not the only one who thinks so. In a recent article in Cottage Life Magazine, Rent a cottage in one of the hottest cottage real estate markets, out of all of the cottages for rent in Muskoka, they chose to highlight mine. Now, how cool is that?

Well, back to the cottage. The lake is clean and beautiful. The shoreline is mostly sheltered from the main lake so doesn't get the large waves rolling in like other cottages. The water often turns to glass in the evening.
The kayak really zooms along. It drafts about two inches of water so you can explore all of the nooks and crannies of the lake. If you like photography, take your camera. There is often wildlife grazing along the shores—especially in the early morning and the off seasons.
The fishing is fantastic—speak to me and I will give you the fishing secrets it has taken me 50 years to learn. But shhh, please keep them to yourself.
Because I also own the adjacent lot, giving the cottage 265 feet of shoreline, our spot has more privacy than many other cottages. The adjacent lot is treed and landscaped along the water's edge. There is a beautiful rock point that is ideal for looking at the stars and water, and it has a little blueberry patch. The lot isn't huge but kids seem to love being able to explore it. Between the point and the boathouse is a nice flat grassy area with seating by the water's edge—a great place to spend a private moment reading a book or admiring the view.
I’m sure you’ll fall in love with my little bit of Muskoka paradise, just as I have. I hope you come and visit.
Warm regards,
Earl
